      Rubber Band Trajectory Project

By Hailey, Tony and Chase

The Rubber Band Trajectory Project is an experiment where only the testable question is provided, leaving all other variables and designing to the hands of each group.  The members must collaborate with the common goal of designing a good experiment- which may include building objects to eliminate human error, and performing trials in such a way that all possible impacting variables are controlled.  The point of the project is to enable individuals in the classroom to use tools and record data in a productive and efficient way, and prepare them for creating detailed and thought out experiments in the future- specifically the 8th grade Science Fair.

The question that will be answered based on the data recorded from the trials performed in the experiment is "At which angle (15, 30, 45, 60, or 75) affect the distance a rubber band will travel?"  We, as a group, must take on responsibilities relevant to the different aspects of the project, and create a well-organized Wiki for all of the portions throughout the course of the experiment.
